Nice Airport is the main international airport for the world-famous Côte d'Azur. It is seven miles east from the heart of Nice which widely known as the heart of the Mediterranean. Given its proximity it is also the main airport for the world famous millionaire playgrounds, Monaco, Cannes and St Tropez. The airport itself is the third largest in France and benefits from two runways allowing a steady flow of air traffic - perfect for those busy summer months.

One thing Nice Airport is famous for is it beautiful landing, you can almost picture yourself aboard a private jet, sipping champagne and nibbling strawberries watching the world renowned French Riviera grow around you as you approach the runway. Nice is an elegant and historic city lying alongside the deep blue waters of the Cote d'Azur. With the rich and aristocratic choosing to spend the winter there from the mid 18th century onwards Nice soon attracted many artists, including Henri Matisse, and is still acclaimed as a place of culture. The beach in Nice is classed as one of the most beautiful in France and it stretches for just over 8 kilometres around the gently curving Baie des Anges. Running behind the beach is a the palm tree lined Promenade des Anglais, a wide, graceful walkway. The town of Nice is built up behind the seafront in the gentle hills at the foot of the Ligurian Alps. The old town of Nice is full of tall historic tenement buildings, with the ground floors being a mixture of restaurants, shops, local craftsmen and artists. Dotted between these are churches, historic buildings, open air markets, an opera house and many squares, all connected by narrow streets, steps and arches. In this maze of colour and history, you can buy almost anything you want, as well as many things you have never dreamt of. Nice is a place a place for adventure, in a few days you can live a life of elegance, drown yourself in culture or spend hours in the old town stepping back in time.
